What We Care For!
Women for peace
We Empower Civic Action through change agents of peace by empowering women. As women are often excluded from political processes and peace agreements, we work with both women and men to increase women’s participation in peace, security and governance processes. We provide them with new skill sets and opportunities for dialogue, so that community issues are
managed with a better understanding of women’s needs and of the interactions between gender and conflict.
Empowering Youth for peace.
The critical link between youth and conflict is receiving more attention among development professionals, both in Africa and internationally. It is increasingly clear that
how our world’s youth view themselves and interact with their peers, their families and their communities are important predictors of our global future. Whether youth choose violence or peaceful resolution when presented with tomorrow’s challenges depends on what opportunities they are given today. Hence our our concern to Empowering the Youth
Develop the VISION, SKILLS and BEHAVIOURS to promote peace are crucial. It is assumed that high unemployment of young men in Africa and the associated lack of prospects increase the potential to recruit potential fighters.
Sustainable Developments
So we do all the crucial development that are mentioned in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Building on the principle of “leaving no one behind”, the new Agenda emphasizes a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all.
